| 02.04.08 GOING, GOING, GONE ONE of the UK's largest auction
houses is the newest
arrival at the Victoria
Park development at Whiteley.
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight
arm of Clive Emson Auctioneers his
bought a l,324sqft self-contained
ground floor in one of the units.
Clive Emson had been previously
based in a first-floor office, eight miles
away at Lee-on-the-Solent.
The firm has 40 staff and is a property
and land auctioneer, estate agents
and commercial property agents.
It was established by founder and
director, Clive Emson, in 1989 and holds
21 regional auctions annually, at various
venues, including the Rose Bowl,
Southampton. The four staff who will
be based at Victory Park are auctioneer,
Rob Marchant, valuer, Andrew Rogers,
and back office operations team, Lisa
Marchant and Anne Al-Balushi.
Only three of the 14 self-contained
offices at Victory Park, a £14m flagship
scheme completed in July, 2007,
by UK office parks developer, Business
