| 27.05.08 DEAL SEALED FOR OFFFICE BLOCKS Six new office blocks are to be built at Cardonald Business Park.Leeds- based Business Homes has purchased 1.7 acres ar the site in an off-market deal and intends to build six office pavilions. The deal comes on the back of Business Homes' last Glasgow deal. It created a development at Glasgow AIrport Business Park where all units were either sold or pre- let before work was completed, and the firm is expecting simlar success. Paul Broad, of estate agent DTZ which advised on the deal, said "Business Homes felt there was strong demand for another similar development in Glasgow. We approached the owner of this prominent site at Cardonald Business Park, which benefits from excellent transport given its proximity to the M8 and Glasgow AIrport, and concluded the deal off market in a short space of time. "We believe this is a great opportunity for Business Homes to develop another successful scheme." |
