| 18.07.07 AIRPORT'S BUSINESS PARK SITE FOR GROWTH Sheffield Star, Rotherham Star, Barnsley StarProperty development and investment company Workpods is to build 90,000 sq ft of office and industial space on a 4.3 acre site near the entrance to Robin Hood Business Park. Work will start this summer on the first phase of the development, which involves building 20,000 sq ft of self contained offices from 1,400 sq ft upwards, available for sale or to let. Workpods development derector Charles Cudworth said: "We are delighted to be able to secure this strategic site adjacent to Robin HOod Airport as part of our ongoing development of WOrkpods nationwide. "As in other locations, we feel our small 'front door' office units will compliment the other developments already underway at the Robin Hood Business Park." Matthew Fitton, business parks manager for airport and business park operator Peel Holdings, said: "We are extremely pleased that Workpods has seen the potential of Robin Hood Business Park and chosen to invest here. I have no doubt that the small unit office produc tproposed will find favour with the market and wish them every success with their scheme." A number of developers, including Priority sites and Business Homes have already taken space at the Business Park, adjacent to Robin Hood Airport. |
