| 15.06.07 ESTATE AGENCY CHAIN FIRST FOR VICTORY PARK N ESTATE agency with expansion plans has bought the first office at Business Homes' £14m new offices park near Southampton.Beals, which employs 100 staff and has eight branches across the Solent area, paid £1.1m for the freehold of unit one at the flagship south coast scheme. It is the first of 14 self-contained offices, ranging in size from 2,700 sq ft to 6,200 sq ft, to be occupied. Twenty-five staff relocated from Beals' head office at West Street, Fareham, in July to the 5,200 sq ft two-storey premises a few miles away at Victory Park, Whiteley. Beals' partner Kieran Godkin said: "We're delighted to be the first business to commit to Business Homes' fantastic development. "It ticks all the right boxes, from space and light to ample car parking and state-of-the-art security and telecoms." He added: "We are growing Beals and Victory Park is an ideal location for us to use as a springboard for expansion into the Southampton area. We are planning two new branch openings soon. "Victory Park will be our new head office, and the surveyors' and commercial property department will sit alongside. We will also have an estate agency sub-office here." Beals, a multi-million pound turnover estate agency, deals with sales, letting and property management. It has branches in Fareham, Park Gate, Hedge End, Bitterne, North End, Southsea, Gosport and Waterlooville. The firm, founded in 1995, has specialist departments for mortgage and financial services, general insurance, surveying, valuations, commercial property, land and new homes and online conveyancing. |
